Market Leader Provides GPS Solutions For Mobile Workers

Mentor Engineering Inc. is a market leader in providing wireless data/GPS solutions for fleet and mobile workers. These systems enable the client to extend their information management capabilities directly out to their work force, and thereby, improve response times, elevate customer service, reduce costs and make scheduling more flexible and effective.

Mentor’s revenues have grown from almost nothing in 1990 to an expected $10 million in 2000. Today, Mentor has over 40 employees and has systems in Canada, United States, Australia, England, China, Mexico, Guatemala, Panama and Dominican Republic. The prize money will be used to hire a new engineering graduate. The new project will include working on a high-level handheld PC that will offer a level of integration and functionality presently unknown in the fleet management and mobile worker hardware market. This will make Mentor an even more significant player in the fast-growing wireless data/GSP market.
